Asbestos, Lead, Mold, & Sick Building Syndrome

Michael C. Sharp is Director of Training for the Continuing Education Program at UC Berkeley for asbestos and lead as well as CEO and Director of Training for Hazard Management Services, Inc.  Mr. Sharp has been inspecting for hazardous materials and designing, monitoring and clearing remediation projects since 1984.  He has been involved in redevelopment, renovation, and revitalization projects for City, County and State governments, school districts, hospitals, private building owners and municipal utility districts for over 30  years.

He is fully Accredited and Certified in asbestos and lead disciplines as recognized by Cal/OSHA, California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Federal EPA.

Mr. Sharp has served as an instructor for Hazard Management Services, Inc. and at UC Berkeley’s Center For Occupational and Environmental Health.   He has taught Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) initial and refresher courses (Contractor Supervisor, Building Inspector/Management Planner, and Project Designer) and CDPH Lead courses since the early 1990s.
