Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. invites you to join Appaji Panchangam, Ph.D., ACTAR, Principal Consultant, Biomechanical Division, for one-hour continuing education seminar, "Biomechanics of Injury Causation". Dr. Panchangam's presentation is designed to help participants understand the mechanics of tissue injury and the injury potential associated with different incident scenarios. The course will provide some familiarity with human anatomy and a variety of examples where claimed injuries are analyzed in light of the incidents that reportedly caused them so personal injury allegations may be more clearly understood.
Dr. Appaji Panchangam is a biomechanical engineer, ACTAR-accredited vehicle accident reconstructionist, and a registered professional engineer in Canada with more than seven years of experience. His areas of consulting expertise include human injury mechanisms, causation, and tolerance; human movement and gait; slip, trips, and falls; and general biomechanical analysis, with testifying experience in injury biomechanics and slip testing.
