Health and Safety on the Job Seminar - Safety Council Sponsored Event

This FREE three-day course will train you to be a Worker Occupational Safety and Health (WOSH) Specialist. You will learn key occupational health & safety concepts and how to take a leadership role in promoting health & safety at your own workplace. The training is “hands on,”  interactive, and fun. You must attend all three days to receive the certifi cate of completion. The course is presented by UC Berkeley’s Labor Occupational Health Program

- Safety Rights and Responsibilities
- Workers’ Compensation
- Cal/OSHA
- Strategies for Taking Action

You will receive a free health and safety course binder, a chance to share ideas and strategies with employees from other workplaces, and a certifi cate of completion as a WOSH Specialist.

The Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program is administered by the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation in the Department of Industrial Relations through inter-agency agreements with the Labor Occupational Health Program at the University of California, Berkeley, the Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety at the University of California, Davis, and the Labor Occupational Safety and Health Program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
