Matt Perra with California Boilers will be discussing the types of ASME classifications for boiler designs, the current and upcoming emissions requirements for boilers, and the importance of qualified maintenance for the safe operation of boiler systems.
Mr. Perra will be covering examples of boilers in the field along with the Inspection and Operation requirements for ASME boiler designs. He will also be covering our current San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District emissions requirements for boilers and where the district is going with upcoming emissions and efficiency requirements. Matt will wrap up with discussing the importance of trained professional repair and daily maintenance to boiler system.
Matt is a native to Stanislaus County with just over 18 years in the boiler industry. He started his carreer with another local shop in the parts room and grew into counter sales, pump repairs, boiler mechanic, and later apprentice technician. Matt took the opportunity to come to work for California Boiler Inc (then Central Boiler Inc) 11 years ago to learn package equipment sales and later steam and hydronic system design. He has continued growing into application design, project management, and outside sales.
In his personal life, Matt loves all things outdoors and home brewing beer.
