Be prepared to have fun with competitive safety games! Terry Coble of Covanta Energy will host safety knowledge games that he uses for training on various safety topics. At this luncheon, we expect you to learn new safety facts and to see alternative training methods for you to use at your workplace.
Terry has been the Environmental Specialist for Covanta Stanislaus, Inc. since 2001. In his role, he helped lead the site to VPP certification in 2007, which they still retain after several recertifications. Terry is also a Cal/OSHA VPP special team member and regularly mentors prospective VPP sites and helps recertify VPP peer sites in this volunteer role. Terry serves on the Stanislaus County Safety Council board and has been Secretary for two years.
